Doing Good & Best Farmworker Housing Competition

National Council of Agricultural Employers (NCAE) announced that it is once again throwing down the gauntlet to search for the best of the best in the agriculture community!

The deadline for submissions is February 2, 2024.

Doing Good & Best Farmworker Housing

  • Submissions should be a minimum of five (5) sentences.
  • You may nominate yourself and/or another NCAE member.
  • You may submit nominations for both competitions, but may only win one.
  • Any supplemental photos should be sent to NCAE’s Manager of Association Services, Susan Lester, at [email protected]. Photos will be used for recognition during the awards ceremony taking place February 13th during NCAE’s 60th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Doing Good

  • This award is for someone who represents what is good about the agricultural community–our connection to the community around us! We are looking to celebrate and honor those of us who take that extra step to improve the world around them. While we encourage you to submit stories related to work, extracurricular acts or activities (e.g. volunteering or other community engagement) that exemplify what is best about our community are also welcome
  • Please submit a narrative that explains what this individual is doing that positively impacts the lives of others/their community.
  • Photos are not a requirement but may enhance your nomination

Best Farmworker Housing

  • This award is for the member with the best facilities for their farmworkers
  • Please submit a short narrative about your housing in the box below
  • Photos are required to win this award. Please submit photos of kitchens, bedrooms, laundry rooms, dining areas, common areas, outdoor facilities and other items you think represent what is best about your farmworker housing to NCAE’s Manager of Association Services, Susan Lester, at [email protected]
